It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. Built by Alexander Cameron in 1869, it is within walking distance to the Main Street of Penola, giving easy access to restaurants, hotels, cafes and the historical Petticoat Lane. The cottage backs onto a family friendly town square, playground and public pool with plenty of room for your children to play. Dogs are welcome - larger dog owners please note that the fence is only 90cm high.
