Located in a small village with beautiful countryside views, this spacious, 150 year old character cottage is self-contained with a garden to the front and a courtyard to the rear. It has two bedrooms, a newly refurbished bathroom, beamed living room and spacious kitchen diner. The cottage is 7 miles north of Melton Mowbray on the Notts / Leics border. Originally converted from a barn in the 1850s, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard but still retains many original features.

The hut is positioned in a private and secluded orchard, next to the farmyard and offers stunning views of the rural landscape. The Vine Cabin is a hand built snug insulated wooden cabin with woodburner, within sight and sound of the River Wreake where you can use our canoes . Sleeps up to 5 (2 in bunks), basic cooking facilities. Canoe building holidays by arrangement. The built in bunk can take 2 people ( increasing the capacity to 6, but they need to be friendly!!). Please bring sleeping bags for the built in bunk (the other beds have bedding provided)

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.

With walks on the farm land and surroundings, local village pubs, cycling along the Grantham canal or in the Vale of Belvoir. You will drive off the quiet country road, up the farm track and arrive at Top House Farm where your Shepherds Hut, Hot Tub and BBQ Hut are awaiting. The recently upgraded Shepherds Hut contains a king sized bed, Kitchenette, Dining Area and En-suite Shower Room. The Hot Tub is ready for you on arrival and the BBQ Hut is the best place to settle down for the night around the fire.

Ivy Cottage is a former stable and is full of character. It has recently been fully refurbished but retains the charm of the countryside with ceiling beams and a beautiful brickwork wall. Thrussington is a beautiful village with a charming pub and a village store and tearoom. It’s popular with walkers and cyclists and the cottage is in a lovely quiet location.
