Knockanbuie is a quiet, cosy holiday cottage in rural Nairnshire, with beautiful open views from every window. It was refurbished recently and has underfloor heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It is a perfect place for family and friends to relax. The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Two nights or more recommended - you will regret it if you don't! Our Orchard Room looks out over our small orchard (figs, plums, apples, pears and cherries, plus grapes in our greenhouse). The Orchard Room offers a kingsize bed without a footboard (better for tall guests!). The spacious Meadow Room (single bed plus breakfast table and vintage sofa) is decorated with original watercolours mainly by Vee and her family. The Black Isle has so much to offer. Set within our lovely garden and surrounded by woodland just 200m off the back road - gives guests and children the safety and freedom to roam from the front door. Located just 15 minutes from Inverness airport.

Balmacaan Steading - Luxury Self Catering, Cawdor

A beautifully converted steading set in the private grounds of an 18th Century Georgian Manse on the edge of a traditional Highland conservation village. Cawdor is a most attractive village with an excellent village pub, shop, church and a variety of outdoor pursuits nearby from golf (with 3 Championship golf courses within 10 miles), hill-walking, salmon fishing, shooting, cycling and skiing. Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, and Inverness Airport are both within 15 minutes drive.

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

The Courtyard, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Relax at this unique getaway in the small seaside town of Fortrose. The accommodation has its own private balcony and boasts stunning views of Fortrose harbour and across the Moray Firth. Chanonry Point, the best place for dolphin watching in Britain, is only a 20 min walk. Close to the popular NC500 route, it is ideal for a romantic break for two. The wood burning stove will keep you cosy on colder nights. There is so much to explore in the area, two nights may not be enough!
