Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. The 'Old Log Cabin' with amazing views over the English channel is located on the beach, and is built around old Victorian railway carriages. An ideal cosy place to chill. In the centre there is a dining area, and a separate seating area with views over the channel. Relax in the garden watching Dudley the donkey or enjoy a brisk country walk along the many public footpaths in our area - perfect for dog walkers. If you fancy a day trip, you can be in London within an hour or Canterbury in 20 minutes.

We aim to provide a quiet relaxing break, whether you are en route to/from Europe, sightseeing or enjoying walking the stunning coastline and many long distance footpaths. The cabin boasts a Hot Tub overlooking the valley. A short walk into the village with its lovely church and a popular local pub nearby. Near to the ancient town of Rye and just 8 miles to the market town in Tenterden. The famous Chapel Down and Gusbourne wineries all within a 10minute drive.

The Annexe is a stylish, 2 bed, family friendly property, 5 minute drive from Dover Port and Dover Castle, Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children or 2 Adults. The property consists of 1 King Bedroom and 1 very small box bedroom with bunk beds, Open plan kitchen and living area, Shower room and Patio garden area. The property is based at the rear of the main house and access is via a gravel path.
