It is located minutes from the Blue Ridge Pkwy, less than 30 minutes to charming towns of Blowing Rock, Boone and West Jefferson & Sky Retreat wedding venue. Ski slopes are all less than an hour away. With 2,500 sq ft of decking you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views with picnic table, rockers, swings, & fireplace. 8 person hot tub and firepit add to your enjoyment outside. Our 750 sq ft. Cabin offers WiFi, streaming TV, central AC and heat, fully stocked kitchen, coffee provided, towels, comfortable bed and quality linens. We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome!

Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Evergreen Retreat

This is a peaceful cabin located just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Relax and enjoy the scenic views, tall trees and sounds of the nearby creek! There are numerous hikes in the area and other outdoor activities such as kayaking, skiing, apple-picking and Christmas Tree cutting.
