Lambsquay House - Apartment Two

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, it’s a peaceful hillside location set in a half-acre garden at the Old Cottage. The log style cabin enjoys panoramic views of the woods and garden.

Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity.
