The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Wren's Nest is a lovingly converted 18th -century barn with a charming private garden and free on-site parking, including secure bike storage. The village has two pubs both serving tasty home cooked food and real ales.

The Piggery @ No 14

Located in the historical town of Haxey The Piggery is part of a Grade 2 listed cottage, @ 14 Greenhill Road, Haxey. This bijou apartment has been fully renovated to a sympathetic stylish standard over 2 floors. On the ground floor is a fully working kitchen with a washing machine and dining table. On the first floor is a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy lounge area with views over the garden. In the loft is a spacious king size bed but please mind your heads on the beams.

‘The Apple Chamber’ is a two-bed apartment (double bed and sofa bed) in a delightful 16th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse, situated in the semi-rural village of Hatfield Woodhouse.   In years gone by, the Apple Chamber was the farm’s servant’s quarters as well as being used to store fruit through winter, which is where the name originates.
