Τι θα κάνετε

In this online experience, I’ll welcome you virtually into my home in Galway, Ireland.

We will spend first few minutes informally chatting and getting to know each other. Then we'll gently warm up our feet. I'll talk a bit about the different styles of Irish dance and point out the characteristics of the two styles we'll be learning.

Then it's time for the dancing! We'll learn a Sean-nós dance step and an Irish step dance step. We'll try the steps to the music. According to how much time is left, we can learn more complicated steps. After that, I can explain how to create your own step out of the movements we just learned.
You will leave this experience with two short sequences of steps.

This experience is great for groups and team-building!
PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME FOR DIFFERENT DATES AND TIMES THAN STATED IN THE CALENDAR!

This is an online experience, so you will need access to the internet and a computer, tablet or smartphone. Your camera and microphone has to be functional for this experience since we will be conversing during the experience and I also need to be able to see you so I can help you with the steps. Also please make sure there's enough light in the space where you'll be dancing.

I'm a professional freelance dancer, musician, and educator who loves teaching. I taught workshops at the world's largest Celtic music festival (Celtic Connections), worked with the world-renowned Irish band Kíla, and toured Europe and US.

I've hosted in-person Airbnb dance experiences in my home here in Ireland for past 2 years. They're among the most popular experiences in Galway.

I believe dance is a powerful tool for human expression that can improve people's mental health and happiness. I’d like to use dance as a platform to bring together people of various social backgrounds and nationalities.

It was a great class for intro to Irish dancing. Aetna was great at demonstrating and answering questions. If you’re curious about Irish dancing, this class is for you.

Yesss ! This was really such a great, fun experience !! It was a birthday present for my friend who lives far away and we enjoyed doing it so much. Aneta is a wonderful dancer, such a warm-hearted, lovely person, very engaging - and a patient, motivating teacher. It was a challenge to learn the steps but in the end we managed it (somehow ;-). We left inspired and happy. I'm so grateful and glad that we can connect this way. Kudos to Aneta. Thanks. Highly recommended ! (also the additional info after the event is highly appreciated.) By the way, the location is also rather cool !

Anetha was great with lessons. Very patient and helped us understand the complicated steps, by breaking them down to simplistic approach. Highly recommended.
