Τι θα κάνετε

To start we will walk along the elegant stonewall walkway which surrounds Deoksugung Palace with 1.0 km in length.
Secondly, we will visit King’s Road along the 120-meter-long (394 foot), 3-meter-wide path which has sad and shameful history. We will learn the history why the King, Gojong of the Josen dynasty had to leave the Gyeongbokgung Palace before dawn on a cold February morning in 1896 together with his crown prince riding in a separate palanquin, went straight to the Russian legation about 1 kilometer away and sought asylum there.
Thirdly, we will visit the former Russian Legation which was Korea royal refuge also called Agwan Pacheon in Korean, occurred after the First Sino-Japanese War during a period of factional confrontation within the Korean royal court.
Next, we will be walking towards to Jungmyeongjeon Hall which was originally used by King, Gojong as his study, but he moved here and started using it as his private quarters after a major fire broke out at Deoksugung Palace in 1904. Jungmyeongjeon Hall was soon to find itself at the center of historical events. In November 1905, Japan forced Korean ministers to sign the Eulsaneukyak, which deprived the Daehan Empire of its sovereignty, here in Jungmyeongjeon Hall.
At last we'll go to Jeongdong observatory which is a public observatory with a great view of Deoksugung Palace. Also equipped with coffee or tea.
