Our countryside cottage situated less than 20 minutes from Saffron Walden or 30 minutes from Cambridge warmly welcomes you. It's ideal for couples, or if you are travelling alone, and in a secluded, very quiet rural location. A lovely garden and parking are free for you to use and enjoy. There is asy access to Cambridge, Newmarket, Duxford Museum and links to London by train from Royston (Kings Cross) or Audley End (Liverpool Street). Close to M11 at Duxford and A1 at Baldock. Several guests have used and appreciated the location cycling from London to Cambridge, finding this an ideal spot to have a relaxing break 'in the middle'. The garden has been experienced as a special, relaxing and inspiring space by all previous guests and you are very welcome to use and enjoy it. There is seating in all its areas and weather permitting breakfast is served in the garden if you wish! IMPORTANT NOTE: Often online maps indicate that the cottage is on the opposite side of the road. These things ensure you will find it quickly: * Coming from Langley it's on the right side, from Chishill / Barley on the left side of the road. * It helps to look at the listing's first picture to recognise the cottage and the little gate close to the house carries a sign with the house name and number.

Local pub is very welcoming and serves lovely food. station 5 mins, market town of saffron walden 10 mins, Stansted airport 15 mins and Cambridge 30 mins drive. we have 2 dogs.

We have four cosy rooms located to the back of The Layer Fox, a grade 2 listed pub offering fantastic food and beer all year round. All rooms can be made into doubles, twins or singles and all have separate walk in wet rooms. We have 1 easy access room with a slope to the door and shower seat and one family room offering a smaller put-you-up bed for small children. Well behaved dogs allowed Travel cot available on request Breakfast not included, can be added for an additional £12.50

It's very green and very diverse. You will see people from all walks of life. Behind our home we have a beautiful park that you can enjoy, it has a small boating lake, gym, tennis and basket ball courts , coffee shops and ample green space as well as a Mansion that you can visit for free
