This stand alone lodge is surrounded by its beautifully manicured lawns and gardens and has its own private entrance with ample parking. It is completely self contained and our guests will have complete privacy.

It is 25 minutes from Shannon Airport, 15 minutes from Ennis, the medieval capital town of Clare and 10 minutes from Tulla, the local town.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet. Garden Cottage rests between Galway and Limerick city, 15 minutes from Ennis and 25 from Shannon Airport. Burren National Park, Doolin, Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher are a short drive. Garden Cottage is a place to unwind and chillout.
