Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

Located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, off the A9 & NC500 route, this well equipped space is situated in a family garden with off road parking. The self contained building boasts, a double (UK standard) bedroom, shower room and kitchen/diner/sitting area. Large patio doors lead out to the decked area in the garden. 35 miles north of Highland capital Inverness.

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Birdsong is in the peaceful woodland setting of Heatherwood Park.The chalet is nestled to the west side of the park away from the roadside with views to the west overlooking open fields, set in its own private grounds which is fully fenced and secure. The chalet is all on one level apart from 4 steps up to the front door,it has been recently renovated making it a bright airy modern space. We are situated outside the town of Dornoch about 1 mile north as you drive towards Embo.
