Situated on the beautiful Doe river, you can step into the front yard and enjoy fly fishing or simply sit on the porch and enjoy the sound of the water. Located just a mile from Roan Mt State Park and 12 miles from the majestic mile high Roan Mt, home of the enchanting Rhodendron Gardens. This area is near Watauga Lake, Bristol Motor Speedway, several ski resorts, lots of hiking trails including the world famous Appalachian Trail. You will be in the midst of some of the prettiest fall leaves. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also nearby. There are so many things to do here, you will never be bored. We have several local restaurants that will keep you well fed.

The kitchen & living area features tall ceilings but *please note* the bathroom and closet ceiling height is shortened to about 6 ft to make room for the loft bedroom above.

Nestle in this guest suite apartment located in the small town of Elk Park. Enjoy sightseeing, hiking, skiing, antique shops & more! Our nest is small so please describe your pet(s) before booking. There is a $35 pet fee so select “traveling with pets” when booking. The pet fee must be paid at booking to avoid a $150 service fee. No smoking, no partying, no events (see house rules). Parking for one vehicle only and park up to and parallel with the entrance gate.
