The Silo was finished in Nov 2018. We’ve been renovating this old 1950’s dairy barn/silo since 2013. The Silo has 4 floors and the top 2 are yours! There’s a sitting area on the third floor (and bath). The bedroom is at the very top with windows all around and 360°view ! Also your own private deck off the bedroom.

Just a 40 second drive to the New River Public access where you can enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking etc., The small town of Independence is just 15 minutes away, convenient for groceries, restaurants and rental of kayaks etc., Visit Grayson Highlands National Park for hiking and spot wild ponies.

Morningside Farmhouse and Meadows, No Pet Fees

Beautiful 1900 family farmhouse with lots of breathing room! This amazing no pet fee dog friendly piece of heaven is 14 secluded acres on the eastern edge of our farm, founded in 1760. Beautiful meadows, forest, springs, creek and pond. Pet friendly. We love doggy visitors! Hike over the farm, anf large fenced meadows. Enjoy the fire pit. Have a really large group? Add Sunrise Cottage and Meadows, also on the farm. Or Middleside Farmhouse, likewise on the farm.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Come stay in our peaceful cabin with sweeping views of the New River and the blue ridge mountain range! Nestled in the mountains, we built this cabin back in 2017 as a family. As you enter our home, you can see photos of the process. We are a big family and having a central place to meet has been so special to us. We’d like to open our home up to others alike to cherish our cabin and create lasting memories. Make sure to take a polaroid in our photobook!

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath post & beam style cabin. It sits on 4 acres with mountain access/views, and river views with easy access. We are directly on the New River with 330 feet of river frontage at the end of a private road with plenty of distance to the closest neighbor. The living room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace with a pullout couch and 2 sets of French Doors opening onto the front porch and the spacious side covered porch.

Meadowview Farmhouse

4 bedroom 2 bathroom historic farmhouse built @1815 but updated with modern amenities. Private and peaceful location in the middle of a 100+ acre working farm, the property is surrounded by hayfields and rolling hills and includes spacious front and back yards. The house includes a front porch, back deck, and fire pit where you can enjoy spectacular views of farmland and the Iron Mountain range, a perfect place to relax and get away from it all.

Secluded Blue Ridge Mountaintop Getaway

Enjoy a relaxing vacation in our secluded mountaintop cabin getaway. Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains bordering Jefferson National Forest, this cabin is a cozy retreat with dynamite panoramic views. Front porch and back deck. Playhouse for children. The surrounding acreage is rented to a hunter. There are many lovely hiking trails nearby.
