Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. HST included in our pricing.

The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

The cabin features infloor heating and a woodstove to keep you warm and cozy. We have a full-size hot tub and a wood fired sauna!

There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. The apartment is air conditioned, has wifi and cable tv You will have the entire upstairs apartment with private entrance. Indoor parking for one vehicle is included. Very cozy and quiet.
