The Yellow Cottage, Doolin

Yellow Cottage dates back to the late 1800s and was originally built for the family who worked the surrounding fields. The cottage has been restored to keep much of the original character, complemented by carefully selected period pieces to maintain its authentic charm. It is a short drive from Doolin village and the famous music pubs. The Cottage has a lovely outdoor space surrounded by a rock garden and has views across Doolin village, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Coast.

This cottage is located in a quiet area in the countryside. The house itself is situated at the back of the family property and it has beautiful views of Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are approximately 15 minutes drive to the Cliffs of Moher and 7 minutes drive (4.2km) to Doolin village. The town of Lisdoonvarna is nearby. And the beeches of Fanore and Lahinch are about a 15 minute drive away.

Stunning countryside location with seaview. It’s only a five minute drive to Lahinch and ten minute drive to Cliffs of Moher and Doolin. Double bed and foldout bed along with comfortable seating area. Studio is brand new and it’s a garage conversion. While located on a quiet country road within a small group of houses, it is within easy walking distance from gourmet restaurants and pubs which are renowned for their traditional music. Clairs Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage that was built over 200 years ago. Situated on the Hags Head trail, this south facing cosy dwelling overlooks Liscannor bay and the Atlantic ocean, and it is one of the closest houses to the Cliffs of Moher trail.
