The Old Goat Shed is exactly as the title says , situated on our small 30 acre goat farm , from where my wife produces goat milk soap and hand made candles. Situated 10 kilometres from Donegal Town looking down onto Donegal Bay and across to Sligo. The area is ideal for walking, cycling or as a base to discover the numerous sites of outstanding beauty County Donegal has on offer as well as our County town 10 minutes away , or if you want to chill out and relax with the fire on that’s no bother

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket, Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Check in time is 4pm to 7pm. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
