Knighton itself offers facilities to include independent shops, cafes and restaurants, public houses, a train station, a leisure centre and a golf course.

We are a 2-minute walk from Llanbister Road train station on the scenic Heart of Wales line.We are on the 825 cycle route. Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Stay in this Welsh Border's farmhouse to explore the Welsh Marches. Ideal location for walkers or cyclists; also to explore, among others, the towns of Ludlow and Hay on Wye. Our brand new lodge is in a rural location with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside but is just a short walk into Presteigne where there are shops and numerous places to eat. 2, Harp Meadow Lodges comfortably sleeps six and each bedroom has an en-suite. Bed linen and towels are provided and each bedroom has a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs. Downstairs is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen plus utility with washing machine. Lounge area has a smart TV & Wi-Fi.

As soon as you walk through the door, the world disappears, as does stress—apart from keeping the fire lit!
