The Garden Flat - Ardullie Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil historic getaway within a Grade 11 listed building, perfectly located on NC500 route just above the Cromarty Firth. A great base for exploring the highlands. The lodge was visited by the Queen Mother each year for lunch on her way to stay at the Castle of Mey. The Garden Flat is a luxury self contained flat, each bedoom zip and link King size beds which can be seperated into twin beds. A large contained garden, loved by our visitors canine companions.

The Stag Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The beautiful Stag Hut is situated within stunning Glen Urquhart with outstanding views, walks and beautiful scenery all around. The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, it has its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Two nights or more recommended - you will regret it if you don't! Our Orchard Room looks out over our small orchard (figs, plums, apples, pears and cherries, plus grapes in our greenhouse). The Orchard Room offers a kingsize bed without a footboard (better for tall guests!). The spacious Meadow Room (single bed plus breakfast table and vintage sofa) is decorated with original watercolours mainly by Vee and her family. The Black Isle has so much to offer. A beautifully converted steading set in the private grounds of an 18th Century Georgian Manse on the edge of a traditional Highland conservation village. Cawdor is a most attractive village with an excellent village pub, shop, church and a variety of outdoor pursuits nearby from golf (with 3 Championship golf courses within 10 miles), hill-walking, salmon fishing, shooting, cycling and skiing. Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, and Inverness Airport are both within 15 minutes drive.

You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.
