Vist the stunning coastline & peaceful countryside of Somerset with lots to do in the area for all ages. Sun bathe & star gaze from our large south facing patio! Our house is detached, well equipped, spacious & south facing with walks & off road cycling from the doorstep, fab views. We have 4 doubles, 1 single, lovely beaches nearby, large garden, patio BBQ & fire pit, dogs are free. I may be able to be flexible on dates & numbers, do message me. Home made scones & a bottle of fizzy welcome you!

More than 500 years old and set in a gloriously remote rural location on Exmoor, this is a fabulous hayloft floor apartment on the Coleridge Way with enclosed garden - perfect for couples, small families and dogs. In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. It has fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, and is a the perfect retreat from busy daily life.

Its location is perfect for walkers with the South West Coast Path and Coleridge Way just 5 minutes-walk away and for sight-seeing and exploring the surrounding countryside. The popular village of Porlock, with local shops, pubs and restaurants, is 1 mile away and the picturesque harbour at Porlock Weir a short walk.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

Owlscombe is perfectly positioned on the coastal slopes of Exmoor with uninterrupted, panoramic sea views across the Bristol channel within a short stroll of the pretty harbour village of Porlock Weir and its amenities. Owlscombe is a very special holiday home which is perfect for large family gatherings or friends getting together to relax or celebrate a memorable occasion. The house is a magnificent, modern, 6 bed / 6 bath property that sleeps up to 12 people and is family and pet friendly.

A charming retreat just off the high street of beautiful Porlock, set in Exmoor National Park. The cottage has two bedrooms for up to 4 guests and a quaint country garden with seating area. Private off-site parking is available and pets are welcomed, free of charge. Please note during July and August I offer minimum 7 night stays, minimum 3 nights the rest of the year.

Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

A lovely cosy hideaway, with direct access to Exmoor, the Doone Valley and beyond! The cottage has many original features, including a wood-burner and rustic beams - and maintains its character (refurbished in 2020). Parsonage Farm Cottage is completely separate from the main house, with its own garden, incredible views and peace and quiet, with Oare Water running along the bottom of the property. Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.

North Devon Coast - Unspoilt Exmoor

Swallows' Rest, on Exmoor's stunning North Devon Coast, offers spacious accommodation in one of Exmoor's most beautiful locations. It is ideal for families and friends. The 4 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, are spread over 3 floors, giving everyone space to relax. Three bedrooms have king-sized beds, and the fourth is a triple room with three single beds. There are two sitting rooms (ideal for groups with children or teens) and WiFi throughout.

Beehive Cottage, Culbone

Beehive Cottage was originally built in 1866 as an estate workers' cottage and sits at the end of a private lane, enjoying a wonderfully private position with no passing traffic. Sleeping up to 4 guests across two bedrooms (one double, one twin), the cottage is arranged entirely on one level with level access through the front door, making it a good option for guests with restricted mobility.
