You'll have a personal dock to moor your own boat. Nearby marinas offer boat/jetski/paddle board rentals. There is a canoe and kayak on premises as well as various sized life jackets. Restaurants from pizza to upscale lake view dining are all close by. Full kitchen if you prefer to cook here.

Ft private cabin was built in 2023 and is nestled in the woods overlooking the river. Just minutes from the trendy small town of Belmont, w/ popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques. 5 min to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 15 min to the National Whitewater Center, 30 min to uptown Charlotte. Unwind and unplug. This cabin on our 100 year old family farm is the perfect place to unplug from a busy day. We are still a working farm and you just may be able to see a little farming during your stay. *Please note we typically require a 2 day advance notice for this cabin but depending on circumstances, we may be able to accommodate. Also note, messages sent after 8:00 pm may not be received until the following morning.
