Buffalo Range, a "destination" Airbnb, is a working ranch nine miles south of Monument, Kansas. The surrounding open prairie has never felt a plow; horses and cattle occupy the pastures most of the year; native grasses, wildflowers, cacti, and succulents surround the homestead. We say we are "half way to everywhere in the middle of nowhere" because we're central to an amazing number of historic, geologic, recreational, photographic, and hunting sites. It will take you several days to see it all!

Just one block from downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and grocery store are all within walking distance. The Great Room boasts 14-foot ceilings, fireplace, reclining sofas, billiard table and dining for 6-8. A fully stocked kitchen and laundry round out this luxurious three bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Please make sure your reservation reflects the actual number of people staying.

Little green getaway

Welcome to my little Kansas getaway. The home has a very comfortable living room, a main floor bedroom with a queen bed and big closet, a nice little updated kitchen, and a bathroom with tub on the main floor. There is a 2nd bedroom on the basement level (stairs to access) with 2 full size beds along with washer/dryer. This home is only 1 block away from Main Street shopping, coffee, dining, a movie theatre, and a world-class Motorcycle museum. This house is not handicap accessible.

It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.
