Locations nearby include Inchydoney beach , Michael Collins House ,Smugglers Cove (crazy golf), Horse Riding , swimming pool and cinema.

The Lodge is situated on its original site which dates back to the 16th Century when it was the home to the Gatekeeper of Muckruss. It is still very much part of local history which is why we have retained its historic charm while at same time creating an air of modern sophistication within .

The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden

A converted stable, only 400 metres walk into the beautiful town of Clonakilty, with a fully equipped open plan kitchen/relaxing and comfortable sitting room, smart tv (STREAMING ONLY- no terrestrial channels) and high speed wifi. Tea and coffee are provided. The double bedroom is upstairs. PLEASE NOTE: The Stone Stables is unsuitable for children and infants. MINIMUM AGE: 25 Government ID will be required upon booking. No parties or smoking.

The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. This 150 year old cottage is very cozy and has many traditional elements combined with modern interiors and decorations. Within walking distance are small beaches. Enjoy the peace of nature!
