Hood, you’ll feel immersed in nature with the sound of the river and the old growth trees. The cabin has been recently remodeled yet the charm and character of the existing structure remain. You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

The upper yard is fully fenced for your pup and there is private walking path to the river.

It's walking distance from a pizza place, Dairy Queen, coffee house and various other shops. 17min from Government Camp and minutes from numerous hiking trails. Other amenities include: -Smart TV -Wifi -Shower -Fully equipped kitchen Warning- You will need chains, traction tires or 4-wheel drive, if it is snowing in Rhodenderron.

Escape to the Happy Fox Cabin in Rhododendron, Oregon at the base of Mt Hood in PNW! Near Government Camp and only 45 minutes from Portland airport. A fully equipped cabin with high end amenities. Hike or bike on hundreds of nearby trails, ski at Timberline, Skibowl or Meadows or paddleboard and kayak at Trillium Lake. Plenty of amazing local restaurants and conveniences!

Enjoy our beautiful cozy cabin that is heated exclusively by a wood stove, on the edge of a magical old growth cedar forest on our 11 acre farm and vineyard. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.
