Wonga Cottage is surrounded by 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife, walking trails, landscaped gardens, dam, a creek and swimming hole when flowing. There are two other cottages on the property available to rent on AirBnB namely Currawong and Figtree.

Our cabin is nicely positioned to allow access to many scenic day trips taking in places such as Maleny, Montville, several National Parks & The Glasshouse Mountains. We have put together some suggested itineraries to help you make the most of your time with us and includes trips to waterfalls, short and long bush walks and restaurants. Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

The nearby beaches and parks are very popular for swimming, picnics, fishing, kayaking and standup paddle boarding. The Redcliffe Peninsula is well serviced with public transport should you wish to go to Brisbane.
