Just 15 miles from Athens, Ohio, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private, spacious yard relaxing on the large front deck, or the side porch. Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. Close proximity to Ohio University, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, and Burr Oak State Parks, and Wayne National Forest.

We hope to provide a space where you can come and unwind and, take in all the natural beauty that the Hocking Hills has to offer.

Sycamore is located on 50 acres of privately owned property and is sure to meet your vacation needs.

This space is ideal for parents of OU students and couples.

Welcome to "The Burrow", our completely off-grid treehouse and bunk cabin 30 minutes from Hocking Hills, 15 minutes from Athens, and next to Wayne National Forest. Get ready for views of soaring Sycamore trees, cozy bonfires, and starry night skies. Unplug to re-connect... with yourself, your loved ones, and with nature. This retreat is off-grid, but has propane heaters, and is supplied with battery-powered lanterns, flash lights, and battery kits to keep your devices charged!

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.
