In 1 hour from Dublin airport the cottage is situated on our family dairy farm, we are a 10-minute walk from the shores of Sheelin and nearby Crover House Hotel. The stone cottage was previously home to Dan Rua. Completely renovated the cottage it is back to full life, with 4 acres of land hosting home to our younger friesian calves, providing a traditional Irish Cottage Setting.

Border Retreat on the Leitrim / Fermanagh Border

The cottage is fully refurbished, it has three bedrooms, one bathroom, living room and modern kitchen. This house is suitable for up to to six people. We cannot facilitate for more than six people at any given time. The house is strictly NO parties and NO pets. This house is an ideal place for anyone who is interested in a quiet getaway, you can go for a walk or go cycling around the area. If you have any trouble finding the cottage we will send the Eircode of the house before your arrival.

Enjoy local landmarks such as Slane Castle, Hill of Slane. Closeby is Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Knowth, Brú na Bóinne, Lough Crew, Trim Castle and the rich heritage of Ireland's Ancient East. Emerald Park is only 20km away. The cabin provides a homely feel perfect for families and friends looking to explore the east coast of Ireland.

Sitka Cabin is nestled in the heart of Tempo Manor Estate and built entirely from timber from the estate. There are two large bedrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen / living area with a sheltered outdoor deck to enjoy sunset barbecues. Sitka Cabin also benefits from its own private hot tub hidden in the trees. Sitka Cabin has views over the meadows towards demesne lough and Tempo Manor itself.
