The apartment sits on our working glamping property, where chickens roam, goats graze, dogs stand guard, and our cats supervise from afar. We’re a 10-minute walk to the Purisima Open Space trail network. This cozy apartment occupies the lower floor of our home & includes a private entrance and parking, access to a shared picnic & BBQ area.

For those who are inclined to have an active lifestyle, We are close to Purisima Creek, Huddart Park, and El Corte De Madera Hiking and Biking Trails. This space is perfect for two! (read more about the space) 20 minutes away from Half Moon Bay with beautiful beaches and 30 min. from Stanford, Palo Alto. We are adjacent to The Mountain House Restaurant. Res recommended. Short drive to local breakfast place. NO PETS!

Fully-equipped studio in victorian home

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

Come and relax in our calm, stylish guesthouse. You will be surrounded by an urban lavender farm with 300+ plants to enjoy! Your lovely cottage is ready and perfectly located to explore the Bay Area or catch a flight in or out. This peaceful space has a plush, comfy queen size bed and a fold down sofa-futon (best utilized for a child or teenager). There is a well-stocked kitchenette. BBQ grill too. We are conveniently located near the two main highways linking all East Bay destinations. Oakland's Oracle Arena (15 min), Jack London Sqr (25 min), San Francisco-downtown (40 min), Lake Chabot (10 min)

Guesthouse Garden Retreat

Our 'sister guesthouses' consist of two small side-by-side cabins (you get both) located behind our home, nestled in a verdant hillside garden that our friends and family lovingly call ‘Little Tuscany’. Cabin 1 - living room with a well-stocked kitchenette, pull-out couch, table and chairs Cabin 2 - bedroom with a queen-size bed, full bathroom and a private deck Accessed by a private entrance, the cabins are luminous and efficient, designed to meet all your needs.
