This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. This family friendly, private retreat sits on a gently flowing creek under the shadows of Cold Mountain and the Art Loeb Trail. You may want to sit on the covered porch or deck while listening to the creek. If you love the outdoors or are a hiking enthusiast, our cabin is for you. We are about 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waynesville, Canton, Maggie Valley, and Lake Junaluska are approximately 30 minutes away; a 45-minute drive will take you to Asheville.

Located in a rural residential area with a scattering of farms, yet only ten minutes from shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville. Close to hundreds of miles of hiking, forty minutes from Asheville or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, there is plenty to do. For those who want to do less, you can just sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.
