Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.

Curl up in our comfortable pull-down beds with new mattresses, fresh linens and relax in the quiet glow of the lantern. This is a 1923 CN wooden caboose. Please note this is not a hotel but a unique glamping experience. This authentic artifact is more than 100 years old and was a working caboose for decades, imperfections should be expected.

Perched up on the cliff, over-looking the Fraser River, our luxury train caboose is surrounded by a rhododendron forest. Conveniently located on highway #7, we are easily accessible and at the door step of endless outdoor adventures. We have our own private hiking trails that wind up the mountain side, crossing creeks, waterfalls and passing many varietals of rhododendrons amongst the lush, natural forest. There are multiple gazebos, look-outs and the higher up you go, the quieter it is.

Our little caboose seems to have escaped the Kettle Valley Rail Line; offering a slice of peaceful, mountain retreat. The passengers whistle with pleasure as they rest in the queen size luxury bed. Tucked away amongst the rocks, pines and burbling creek; the cute woodstove brings it together as a cozy place for dreaming. In the past two years the railroad tycoons staying here have always rated us 5 stars on cleanliness. Includes business ready wifi speeds of 350 mbps.

Wild Horse Gorge

You will find our serene place amongst the sagebrush and mountain scenery; just this side of lost. Wander down a quiet path in the wilds of the Okanagan desert and enjoy the inspiration of nature. The railway tycoon requested a place which offers a patio in the fresh mountain air, full bathroom, a queen size bed in a loft, a couch which can be a double bed, a dining table, a heated pool (shared), and a hot tub (shared).

Tram Premiere

While this carriage has left the clackety-clank of rails behind it has found new joy with its friends the singing birds, glowing wild flowers, and babbling brook. Enjoy a gorgeous mountain sunset from the outdoor patio and relax in the macramé swing. Since this wagon has been sitting on a shoofly spur for a while the signalman connected it to fiber optic internet, getting speeds of 350 Mbps or more.
