Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.
