Monga Mountain Retreat

A bright, spacious timber cabin, on a beautiful 11acre off-grid property, nestled in the pristine Monga National Park. The private cabin is set apart from the main house on a quiet property, only 16min to the lively town of Braidwood. Nestled along the upper reaches of the Clyde River (the cleanest and most pristine waterway in Eastern Australia) lies the Clyde River Retreat – a haven of beauty, peace and tranquility. The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Pigeon House, The Castle or any of the other spectacular locations in Morton National Park or Budawang National Park. If you do not have a 4WD, ask us about current road conditions before booking. You may not need one, but we cannot guarantee access without one.

We have lots of wood for the fire in winter, the outdoor bath is wonderful for stargazing & the (shared) swimming pool heaven on a hot day. We can also provide transport at a competitive fare to & from nearby walking trails, wedding venues & wineries.

This is the last house on the street before the national park. Only minutes to Pretty Beach, Merry Beach, and Kioloa Beach. The studio is perfect for couples as a cosy retreat from the city. Parking is available, with private access to the studio. The wildlife includes Glossy Black Cockatoos, kangaroos and possums.

The Stables @ Longsight

The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island.
