Self contained one bedroom cottage in countryside with plenty of walks & a close village pub. Cottage offers kitchen with a fridge which has a small freezer section, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking accessories, tea & coffee, dining table & chairs for four. Living area with comfortable seating & TV. Bedroom has a king size bed, space for single bed (upon request) and space for a cot (cots not provided). Bathroom with walk in shower & separate bath. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 3 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Picturesque 18th Century Cottage

An period 18th Century cottage with a lovely kitchen, a cosy living room and a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed. In addition there is a sofa bed in the living room, so this cottage can be occupied by 2-4 guests. The private and prettily planted courtyard has seating and a BBQ. Please note that as this is a period property the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and very steep and would sadly not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
