The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Just minutes from Cut River Bridge and Garlyn Zoo, this true “Up North” retreat is perfect for outdoor adventure or a peaceful getaway.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

S & K's Mackinaw House

Just 2 miles from downtown Mackinaw City, this remodeled home is the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a cozy screened-in porch, it offers over 1,000 sq. ft. of comfort on a peaceful ½-acre lot. Enjoy easy access to the Rails-to-Trails path for walking, biking, or snowmobiling—it’ll take you right into town and beyond!

Dark Sky Cabin

Small cabin located at the end of a paved, dead end road in Carp Lake, Mi. 10 min drive from: Dark sky park, Mackinac Island ferries, Mackinaw City Crossings, hiking trails and more. Easy access to snowmobile/biking trails from cabin. There is a shared sauna on the property with two other cabins . The cabins are all secluded with there own lot.
