If you enjoy a beautiful view, a peaceful and secluded rural setting and being surrounded by animals (wild and domestic) then this is the place for you! Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Welcome to "The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite" We are situated 1 km from the National Park and 5 minutes to downtown Cheticamp. The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. You will also be delighted with fresh that morning seasonal muffins that I make and forage the fruit for! You also have your own private deck and entrance with a table and umbrella! As a guest you have full access to the fire pit with wood included! NO MICROWAVE.

This wee cottage is decorated for those witchy vibes! It has one queen bed, TV, table and kitchenette with micro, fridge, toaster, single burner and sink. All dishes, linens, kitchen supplies and shampoo/soap is provided. Kitchenette for simple meal prep. Full bathroom w/ walk-in shower. Private BBQ, screened tent( high season) WINTER BOOKINGS- snow tires/AWD required; driveway is steep but well maintained year-round. Muted traffic can be noticeable at times. Sorry no dogs, no motorbikes.

Equipped with all the amneties of home for a nice stay , 2 bedroom's included and has lots of room including 2 bathrooms with showers in each. There is Tv's in each unit with a couch to relax. Stove & fridge to cook a nice meal. The Cabot Trail is about an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Great unit for 2 people or 4. There is an adjoining door in the middle that seperates the units.

We are 30 minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry terminal in North Sydney, 20 minutes from the entrance to the Cabot Trail via the Englishtown Cable Ferry . We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.
