Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Y Bwthyn Bach is a newly refurbished, stylish bedroom, kitchen in one,with an entrance hall leading to the bathroom, has one double bed ideal place to put your head down. Situated in the quiet village of Tregarth, on the outskirts of Bangor between Bethesda and Llanberis. 10 minute walk to Moelyci through a stunning Forrest that has plenty of walking/cycling paths. The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. Caban y Carneddau is a cosy log cabin located at the foot of the Carneddau mountains with stunning scenery of the Menai Strait and the Isle of Anglesey. The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.
