Luxstowe House is a historic cottage surrounded by wild, sprawling gardens on acres of land hidden just 5 mins drive from Bowral. Brimming with beautiful artworks and an abundance of books - it's a home you will never want to leave! The sweet country cottage is set at the bottom of a tree-lined drive and below an old barn once used as a sculpture studio and now as a tree nursery. Only 1.5 hours from Sydney, it will transport you to another world so you can relax & recharge on your next getaway.

Pavilions Garden Cottages - Olaf and Tilia

Inside the private Pavilion gardens you will find two separate cottages - Olaf and Tilia. They are ‘tiny houses’ – small but perfect with every amenity and fully self-contained. Olaf is nestled in the garden, surrounded by trees and flowers. Tilia, at the top of the drive, enjoys a rural view up the hill with sheep, cows and the odd kangaroo jumping by. Both have outside fire pits for marshmallow toasting on brisk Highlands nights. We are 5 mins drive from both Mittagong and Bowral main streets.

For larger groups, we have 3 properties which are only a couple of minutes walk from the heart of Old Bowral that can accommodate up to 14 people as detailed below.

This gorgeous Stone cottage has been built from the local stone collected from the surrounding land. Built with recycled timbers and antique building materials it looks like it has been there for more than a century. It has just been fully renovated and has all new appliances. Oozing with character and charm, the Carriage House is self-contained, private, dog-friendly and fully fenced. On-site parking is available, wood is supplied for the slow-combustion fireplace and outdoor fire pit. you will be welcomed with drinks on arrival. "The Birdsnest" is located in the heart of the historic Berrima Village. "The Birdsnest" is an 1890s heritage listed building. The cottage is a calm and relaxing space with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottage is located near popular Southern Highland wedding/function venues. Bendooley Estate is a 10 minute drive away. Peppergreen is a neighbour. The “Birdsnest”is perfectly located to explore Berrima and the Southern Highlands.
