Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Southwest Spirit Cabin retreat

Escape and relax in our spirit of the southwest themed cabin in the mountains. Enjoy your own cabin equipped with a kitchenette, queen bed, sofa, tv, dining table, private bath with tub and a patio to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ponies and nature. Close to the Blue ridge parkway, the AT trail and Peaks of Otter. Please note this is a SMOKE & ALCOHOL FREE property as a wellness retreat. Not a party place. NO PETS or CHILDREN. This is not a party house, it is meant to relax and enjoy peace, quiet, and nature, enjoy!

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and featured in Savor Magazine as one of the "Best Places to Go Glamping in Virginia," this cabin is a respite from the busyness of life. Located on 2.5 acres backing onto a mountain stream, our cabin is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Glenwood Horse Trail, countless hikes, and several ultramarathon courses. Our cabin is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and people from all backgrounds are welcome.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Rocreek Cabin at Little Stoney Creek

Located in Bedford ,VA three miles from the Blueridge Pkwy and Peaks of Otter; Rocreek is a “cabin in the woods”, adjacent to a peaceful pond and Little Stony Creek. Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.
