In a quiet neighbourhood that runs along the shore of the river, this sunny, cottage style house was built in the 1800's. It's a cozy 3 bedroom with a generous side garden on a tree lined street within easy walking distance to the shops + restaurants of downtown Almonte as well as biking and walking trails. It's been lovingly renovated and furnished with loads of antique finds that make for an authentic + homey feel. 30 minutes to Ottawa, 2.5 hours to Montreal, 4 hours to Toronto.

Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

This "rustic chic" home has been designed with your every comfort in mind. There will be no "roughing it" in this rural cottage, nestled in the beautiful Lanark Highlands. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

It is very private and you will have the entire property and cottage to yourself. it’s the perfect peaceful hideaway. The cottage is warm and cozy with gorgeous views of cranberry lake Our place is Great for nature walks, biking, swimming and enjoying the outdoors. Also for fishing/ice fishing and snowmobiling trails are close by.
