The Shepherd’s Hut, Bath

In the summer of 2019 we installed a brand new shepherd’s hut in our large garden. The hut, built by a local company, is sat in an open space away from our own house, and has a great view down the garden. It is fully equipped with: Double bed TV Underfloor heating Bose bluetooth speaker Free WiFi Toilet and shower room with shampoo and shower gel Microwave Single hob Toaster & kettle Iron and ironing board Coffee & tea Breakfast cereals, our own free range eggs, bread, butter, jams and juices

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The cottage is only a few minutes drive from places of interest like Bath, the Cotswolds, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and the Mendip Hills. With many walks to choose from the cottage is also the perfect spot for nature lovers who would like to leave their car. The cottage is within walking distance from Keynsham with lots of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a trainstation (direct train to Bath and Bristol centre in about 10 minutes).

Two Bed Garden Apartment sleeps 4 max

Gilda's Garden - Apartment 1 in Number 4 Norfolk Buildings, is actually a maisonette, occupying two floors of this listed Regency Terraced building. This is a spacious apartment with an elegant Lounge and dining area with open plan kitchen, there is a toilet and wash basin on the half landing , and on the garden level, there are two ensuite bedrooms. The downstairs marble floored hallway leads to the long garden, which is a pleasant space on a sunny day, with plenty of outdoor seating.

The perfect retreat to escape everyday life, where you can stroll through our beautiful one acre of land, unwind with a glass of wine in the wood-fired hot tub or outdoor bathtub, all while soaking in the views and the warm embrace of the fire pit. You can bring your four-legged best friend! The hut boasts a double bed, shower room and a kitchen with microwave oven, toaster and coffee machine. Outside a private acre of land complete with secure fencing to keep your furry friend safe.

Nestled in a quiet rural village on the outskirts of Bath, Dairy Cottage is beautifully appointed retreat with everything you need for the perfect getaway, including a log burner and wood fired hot tub. We welcome dogs too! If you are allergic, please don’t book. Two bedrooms, sleeps 4 adults (max) and 1 child. The detached property benefits from enclosed parking and is ideal for families and couples and those who love a quiet rural spot to relax after a day exploring Bath.
