A beautiful 2 bedroomed bungalow set in the historic, pretty village of Barwick in Elmet, which boasts the tallest maypole in Britain. Within easy reach of Leeds, York & Harrogate. The village has 3 traditional pubs. Withing 2 miles of Garforth & Crossgates which have train stations. There are lots of public footpaths from the village and a pretty dog walk opposite the house. The Bungalow is dog friendly -up to 2 medium sized, but 'Never' unattended & a strict no smoking policy anywhere.

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. There will be tea and coffee making facilities, milk in the fridge and fresh linen and towels for you! We hope you find it comfortable, stylish and well equipped! We consider longer lets too!

The Gables, Tadcaster, LS24 8DP

The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
