Tullydowey Gate Lodge

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Lizzie's cottage nestles in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains close to Slieve Croob. This 150 yr old cottage has been restored bringing its facilities into the 21st century but still possessing some of those original features of a time gone by. Lizzie's cottage is adjacent to a family home complete with its own parking, jacuzzi and bbq facilities. The cottage offers spectacular views of Slieve Donard and is close to Castlewellan and Newcastle as well as 40minutes from Belfast.

Catering for six people the house has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, games room, downstairs toilet and utility/boot-room. Upstairs there is the main bathroom, master bedroom with en-suite, double bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom.
