The loft, with vaulted ceilings and beautiful tile and woodwork throughout, is settled behind the main house, and includes a comfortable king bed, modern decor, fold down couch, well functioning kitchen, and access to hot tub. Kenton has great food, retail shops, and bars two blocks away, and guests are a short MAX train ride to Downtown. LGBTQ+ and rec. marijuana friendly. Fred Meyer and New Seasons grocery stores are close by. The ADU has a double bed, memory foam mattress, and a white noise machine.

There are games for outside and inside. Because this is a rural area, the cell phone reception is not so good in some areas of the house, especially downstairs. TV works well and texting works everywhere. WiFi is good. We ask our guests to agree to our house rules and sign a Liability Waiver before checking in.

Nestled on the bank of the Lewis River on 1.7 acres of alder and fir forest with a creek meandering through the property. A 1200 sq. ft. deck wraps the main house with stairs leading down to the river. There are no neighbors across the river or downstream, so you'll have the sunsets all to yourself. Soak in the hot tub (w/cold plunge) or build a fire under the stars. At 1.5 mi to the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest and Sunset Falls, plenty of recreational opportunities await!

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
