Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Island hopping adventures abound with 4 ferries within a short drive offering day trips to Gigha, Islay, Jura, Arran and Cowal.

The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. Romantic hideaway cottage and garden in a secluded location in Tighnabruaich. It's been used as an artist's home since 2003 and is ideal for a romantic getaway. Enjoy open plan living with a contemporary beach house feel overlooking a mature private garden in the stunning surroundings of Argyll. Booking is essential for restaurants and cafes. The cottage is not suitable for children or pets.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
