Accommodation 2/3 Self-contained flat attached to main house with own entrance, on the sea front in the centre of Dunoon, with stunning views across the Clyde and down to Cumbrae, Bute and Arran. 1/4 mile to passenger ferry and one and a half to Hunter's Quay car ferry,5/10 minutes walk to shops, cinema, eateries. Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Arrochar Annex: amazing views, 1 hr from Glasgow

This self contained modern Annex is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, on the banks of Loch Long, with stunning views of the "Cobbler" amidst the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers & those wishing to experience the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of Glasgow & Stirling. The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

Wee Coo Byre

Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

This cabin sits overlooking the uninterrupted views of Loch Long & its mountain backdrop with access to our private beach. Ideal for those who enjoy walks, fishing, cycling & relaxing in the country. With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

We have 2 listings at the rear of our cottage (Holly or Willow) each having their own entrance & en-suite shower room. There's a Freesat tv, mini fridge, kettle, toaster,crockery & cutlery. We provide coffee, tea, sugar & milk pots. We are walking distance to Tarbet pier, Kirk O The Loch,Tarbet hotel & bus stop & train station. I like to give guests privacy & it’s self check in and out. A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

Arrochar Alps Apartment is the perfect place to absorb and enjoy the local nature, relax and enjoy the walks round about the many hills and lochs right on the doorstep. Practical things like the local bus stops, store, pubs, cafes, post office, restaurants and local filling station, are all in easy walking distance. Also there are many places of natural beauty and interest to visit by car or public transport including Loch Lomond, Glencoe and Inveraray castle.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
