Welcome to our home on Lake Blackshear! **We are THE house for Christmas so please be aware we will have lots of friends & family here for Christmas eve/day if you are looking to book either of those nights.** We are located in a cove at the northern tip of the lake, surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. There is 1 queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa, and 1 futon (suitable for 1-2 small kids). It is DUCK/DEER HUNTING SEASON, so please be aware you may hear gunshots on weekend mornings.

The house is located on a large lot surrounded on three sides by fence and trees to offer a wonderful private setting. Ample parking available for cars, trucks, boats and hard to fit vehicles. Comfortable queen bed and pull out sofa offer an ideal arrangement for a family of four. We love pets and welcome your well behaved fur babies to our home. Historic town with bike friendly roads.

Very clean, dog-friendly and updated 2 bedroom 1 bath with a fenced in backyard and patio. Home is centrally located to everything. Six minutes to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, eight minutes to Albany State University and 20 minutes to Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies and utensils. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot coco is provided as well as filtered water.

Janelle’s Cottage

Janelle’s cottage is named after my Mom, Janelle Perkins. She was a public health nurse who had a great love for God and people. This is a handicap friendly home. We want you to enjoy the slower pace in Cochran Ga. This is a pet friendly home whether it’s the 4 legged kind or the feathered kind. They are welcome. We do not charge a pet fee or a cleaning fee. We are approximately 4 miles from Middle Georgia State University and approx. 30 minutes from Warner Robins.

Also, you may want a night by a fire or to grill a nice meal - we have those options too! And I’ve saved the best for last, make sure you bring your swimsuit- our pool is open for you to use as well!!

Located in a quiet neighborhood, we're just four miles from the Albany Airport. This mother-in-law apartment has private access and everything you need for a great night's rest. The kitchenette provides a coffee maker, refrigerator, eating utensils, and microwave. Prices will be adjusted for long-term reservations (ex: traveling nurses; contractors; etc.)
