Historic stone cottage in the heart of Melrose. Close to all local amenities with spectacular views and direct access to the creek. Main and second bedroom have queen beds. Third bedroom has as a triple bunk (double and single) and a single bunk. Camp style kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge. Basic ‘outhouse’ style bathroom (external), shower over bath, toilet. Outdoor laundry area. 6 person outdoor sauna with view. Additional guests (caravans/ tents) welcome - fees apply contact host

Clare to Spalding character escape

Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

Beautifully restored 1860's Miners cottage with all the modern conveniences whilst enjoying the lovely touches of yesteryear. Lime wash stone walls surround lge rooms with reverse cycle air A.C. wood fire & a gas log heater to keep you warm and cosy. Heated bathroom with with cast iron claw foot bath to soak and relax with a glass a wine. Enjoy the beautiful garden for breakfast, BBQ or read a book in one of the many nooks. Walking distance into Gladstone (1.2km) if you fancy a beverage or need to top up your cheese platter. A great base to kick off your Southern Flinders adventure.

Harding homestead is the perfect place to relax with family and friends at this historical and unique country home. At the gateway to the Flinders Ranges, it is located between Jamestown and Peterborough you can visit the local sights and explore the property with its spring fed creek, wildlife, horses and cattle. This light and airy cottage is within walking distance to all the town facilities. It's a comfortable place for the whole family. You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. We hope you love staying at our cottage as much as we do.

It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.
