Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Relax in this cozy home, located right inside Caswell county on 1 acre. Outdoor fire pit, covered carport, back patio & front porch with rockers. Perfect for a get away in a quiet area. 25 minutes from Greensboro, Eden, Reidsville downtown (17 mins), & Burlington. Enjoy watching the chickens, roosters, and turkeys in the area (there’s a chance a chicken will end up in the backyard!) & relax in the simple slow paced country life. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.

Want to get away? Fortress of Solitude is a modernist house on 30 acres. Relax on the porches listening to birdsong. The fortress was built in 2007 as a vacation home. Passive solar design features include concrete walls and many windows. The style of the fortress is a call back to old NC tobacco barns. Surrounded by forest with no neighbors in sight, this home has excellent privacy and a half mile long driveway. Gratitude to all guests who stayed during our 1st year!
