COPPER RIVER SUITE TURNAGAIN

The Copper River Suite is newly constructed and on the upper floor of a two unit split entry house. Turnagain is a quiet residential area near the Anchorage International Airport and Lake Hood, a major floatplane base. On its shores, the Alaska Aviation Museum features vintage aircraft, a flight simulator, and a plane-watching tower. Along Cook Inlet, joggers and cyclists use the Tony Knowles Coast, while large Earthquake Park has hills shaped by a major 1964 earthquake, plus wooded trails.

4500 sq ft Anchorage gem with scenic lake and mountain views sits directly on Jewel Lake, minutes from the airport, downtown and Kincaid Park hiking, biking, and ski trails. In the summer, fish from the dock, take a kayak or paddle board and tour the lake. Life-guarded beach and playground across the lake. In the winter, ice fish, snow-machine or ski across the lake. Fenced property has a large trex deck to BBQ. Inside, foosball, shuffle board and pool table provide family entertainment.

Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

Large 900 sq ft upstairs suite with separate entrance and free, off street parking. Home is in an established neighborhood near the coastal trail. Full kitchen, with full size refrigerator and stove including microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and blender. The space is cheerful and full of light with a private balcony. Shared laundry area between upstairs and downstairs. Like being at home with all the conveniences, Smart TV, laundry, and high speed internet.

Endless peaceful days and evenings by the lake so snugged up near the fire. In the winter, take a walk out the backyard onto the frozen lake. From there you can stroll around, cross-country ski, ice skate, ice fish, or just enjoy the beauty. During the summer jump off the docks into the refreshing water or enjoy paddle boarding. We have 2 paddle boards available for your use. Fish from the docks and use the grill to make your dinner.
