Built in 1833 situated a scenic rural setting. 3 miles north of Alness and with excellent 5G broadband installed in every room. As yet the property is not equipped with EV charging. There is the Skiach service stn. 3 miles from SH which has EV. charging. To plug into SH domestic supply will cost £10 /day

Close to the A9 for great access to explore the Highlands. Deep into whisky country, distilleries and visitor centers for some of the worlds most recognizable brands of Scotch Whisky are on your doorstep. The award winning Dalmore Distillery & the world famous Glenmorangie Distillery Both have full visitor experience centers and guided tours and are a mere 10 mins away. You’ll love the views here of the Cromarty Firth and tranquility that comes from staying in a traditional Scottish Farmhouse.

Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Highland River Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

The cottage is exceptionally well placed for touring the North Coast 500 route and the scenic Cromarty Firth area. The cottage is just a few miles away from the famous Ardross castle, where 'The Traitors' is filmed. The cottage is in a rural location with the nearest town being 5 miles away, so having your own transport is essential.

We are also a 25 minute drive from Inverness. This brand new dog friendly (maximum 2 dogs) location with outdoor space has quiet forestry walks on the doorstep.

The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
